Settling In New Zealand

Flying to a new country and getting settled can be a stressful time. We want to take the stress out of your trip and help you get settled into New Zealand. To do this we offer a Settling In Orientation service which includes two nights accommodation with a Kiwi family. Once you arrive at Auckland airport you catch a bus to sunny Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty and spend your first two nights with your host family as you recover from your flights and get orientated in New Zealand. Tauranga is a perfect place to begin your New Zealand adventure. You can get here by bus from Auckland or have your flights link up to Tauranga airport. We can help you with bus details and pick you up from the bus station. For a fee we can also pick you up directly from the Auckland airport. Start your trip by seeing the best of New Zealand first. Tauranga is 10 minutes from beautiful white sandy Mount Maunganui beaches, scenic bush walks, Rotoura, Hobbiton, and other key tourism destinations.

Our Settling In Orientation service includes:

• Two nights’ accommodation in Tauranga
• Pick up from Tauranga bus station and assistance in getting your bus tickets
• Dinner with your host family, serve yourself breakfast and lunch
• Internet usage on your own phone, tablet or laptop
• Advice on sights to see and destinations around New Zealand
• Help planning your trip around New Zealand
• Booking an appointment to set up your New Zealand bank account
• IRD application for your tax number (if you wish to work in New Zealand you need this)
• Guidance as to where to find seasonal work
• Use our physical and postal address during your New Zealand travels
• Use our contact details for emergency, and your family may also use us to reach you
• Optional extra pick up at Auckland airport for NZ$200 (if you prefer not to bus here)

All this for two guests, two days, a total of NZ$460
